The museum is dedicated to the Geri EOKA 1955-59 fighters Kyriakos Kolokasis (Κυριάκος Κολοκάσης), Ionas Nikolaou (Ιωνάς Νικολάου) and Kyriakos Kakoulli (Κυριάκος Κακουλής), and bears their names. Their busts are situated outside the museum in a small niche of the yard.
The initiative and the fundraising were undertaken by “Dikefalos” union of Geri, and the Historical Archive of the Board for the Historical Memory of the EOKA 1955-59 struggle (SIMAE). The unveiling took place on August 31st of 2006.
