Doros Loizos was a poet and an active member of EDEK (ΕΔΕΚ) political party. He was murdered right after the coup, on August 30, 1974, not far from where his bust is placed. 

The initiative for his bust was taken by the London Socialist-Democratic Movement of Cyprus (ΕΔΕΚ/EDEK). The unveiling took place on August 30th 1985.

On the pedestal is written: “Anyway we will resist them; No matter who they are, no matter how powerful they are” (Πάντως εμείς θα τους αντισταθούμε. Όποιοι και νάναι, όσο δυνατοί και νάναι).

Stelios Mavros was murdered in January 1974 by EOKA B’ supporters. No further information is available. The unveiling took place on September 17th 1978.

Location: Nationalist union “Evripidis Nouros” premises, Apesia. Limassol district 

Dimensions: 163 cm x 47 cm x 46 cm

Nouros was murdered on August 15, 1962. The initiative was taken by the nationalist union “Evripidis Nouros” which coordinated the fundraising among its members. The bust was placed in 2000.

Georgios Fotiou was murdered on April 5, 1973 by EOKA B’ supporters. The initiative was taken by an ad hoc private committee for the Fotiou bust. The unveiling took place on March 10th 1986.

The memorial was commissioned in 1996 by the Athienou popular unions and the cost was covered through fundraising. On the ground in front of the two busts is written: “Passer, remember that here fascists murdered the heroic martyrs of Greek Turkish friendship on April 11th 1965” (Εσύ διαβάτη που περνάς να θυμάσαι, εδώ δολοφονήθηκαν στις 11-4-1965 οι ηρωομάρτυρες της ελληνοτουρκικής φιλίας από τον φασισμό).

The unveiling took place on April 6th 1997.

Kyriakos Papalazarou was murdered in July 1973 by EOKA B’ supporters, and Sotiris Papalazarou was killed during the Turkish invasion in July 1974. Τhe memorial was commissioned by the United Democratic Youth Organization (EDON / ΕΔΟΝ, Ενιαία Δημοκρατική Οργάνωση Νεολαίας) and the unveiling took place on July 23th 1995.
